About the EP =>
Abe return to their SINNERS imprint this March with another emotive two tracker entitled Asgard. Launched in October of 2017, SINNERS has established itself with authority, gaining support from the likes of M.A.N.D.Y., Guy Mantzur, Marcus Worgull and Agoria to name just a few across its first two releases. Guided by Abe, an anonymous duo based out of Europe, the label has become the home of a series of dark yet dynamic self released EPs, and this third release sees the duo continue in a similar vein to deliver two further striking and vibrant productions. Asgard opens proceedings to reveal a slow blooming, emotive production thats guaranteed to draw in listeners. It is these qualities that Abe love to explore and distort, resulting in vivid, rich melodies, whilst sculpting a production effortlessly balanced in both suspense and emotion. On the flip, The Hunt establishes an equally familiar aesthetic as we see the duo return to the peak time, unleashing a series of driving basslines, howling synths and scintillating arpeggios over murky percussion shots and hypnotic yet subtle background nuances throughout.

Coming up with a hot and fresh single outing on Hive Audio is Marcus Meinhardt – Berlin based DJ & producer, founder and creative head of Heinz Music, which has been heavily involved in venues like the legendary Bar25, released on prolific labels like Upon.You Records, Voltage Music, Katermukke and many more whilst also rocking crowds at our Hive Club multiple times per year on a regular for quite a while now.

With the title track „Monkey“ we see Marcus Meinhardt explore deep, spatial TechHouse territories with a quite hypnotic twist, providing Trance-inducing, ever climaxing melodies, warped vintage basslines, intricate programming and, most importantly, a floating, mystical female vocal motif able to transform a sunrise over the dancefloor into an experience of a lifetime . Beautiful.

On a remix tip for „Monkey“ is Definition who is focusing on a slightly darker, spiralling aspect in his rework. With overwhelming, big time basslines, tribal-infused percussion rolls and epic build-ups his take on the original walks the line between pumping TechHouse and (Neo)Trance for heaving crowds, being a sweet addition to the original cut for a reason.

'Berlin duo Kotelett & Zadak have released a steady stream of kooky tracks on Exploited Ghetto over the last few years amidst other outings for the likes of Poker Flat Recordings. You can always count on them to deliver some potent material for the dancefloor, and this new pack doesnt fail to excite.

"Sam Same" hooks you in with its rapid-fire metallic percussion and a pulsing lead synth which is full of drama and suspense. Ticking hi-hats drive the track along as subtle washes of reverb swell gently beneath. A resonant, bubbling 8-bit style synth rears its head from time to time with cartoon-like charisma. Shrieking, muted organ-like sounds add more colour still in the break. A nagging arpeggio builds the intensity further as sleek hi-hats pick up the energy further. These constituent parts could easily be combined into something overblown and intense, but the subtlety displayed throughout is a far more powerful option.'

Mobilee welcome back regular artist Rey&Kjavik for another cinematic new EP that shows
off his uniquely mystical sound.

This artist is based in Germany and runs his own label RKJVK. He continually evolves with each new EP
and has already impressed with two full lengths that were brilliantly broad and storytelling. Once again here
he serves up two scintillating trips to the stars that stylishly draw on disco, house, ambience and the
cosmos.

The epic 'Time' is an almost 10-minute adventure into brilliantly moody and futuristic house. A robot
vocoder muses on the track's title while cosmic ambiance and far gazing pads make for a truly intergalactic
atmosphere. The rubbery bassline and various subtle breakdowns all add tension to the trip and make this
a timeless journey stuffed with real feelings.

Next up, 'Yourself' is masterfully absorbing thanks to the deeply buried but rasping bass, the infectious little
claps and majestic comic synth sequences and sci-fi details. It's a slow burning track that really casts a
spell and when it drops the club is set to go crazy.
