After Markus Guentner and Joachim Spieth's first joint album, "Overlay", was released last October, there is now a 10" lathe cut limited to thirty pieces, which will be released on February 2nd.

"Overlay Variations" uses elements that were taken exclusively from the album and puts them together to create completely new pieces of music. The recording is delivered with a print that shows the front of the cover and is hand-numbered on the back.

Furthermore, this 10" represents the start of a series that will be completed by the end of the year...

LAMIA is a music artist, producer, vocalist, and practice-based research academic based in London. She combines haunting vocals, cinematic soundscapes, and industrial sounds - a noise-influenced style inspired by music production training in Berlin. LAMIA writes, performs, and produces her own material. LAMIA is currently performing 'Simulacra States', an audio-visual set made in collaboration with computational artist Brian Hart, combining 3D rendered artwork and her self-produced music (project funded by MusicBoard Berlin). Key performances include Berghain Kantine (DE), a Live Session with BBC Introducing 2023 (UK), PureGold Festival at Goldsmiths University 2023 (UK) and Changeover Festival (SRB).
LAMIA has just graduated in 2024 with a Distinction in a Master of Music (MMUS) from Goldsmiths, University of London, where two scholarships supported her. LAMIA co-runs South East London underground collective Crossovers and has been involved in Berlin-based collective Eclat Crew for several years. Her self-produced album is due for release in Oct 2024.
