Born in Washington, D.C. as an army brat, OPA Tay Forye aka LaMonte’ Singletary has moved around a lot. He believes the mix of locational culture allows reasoning for the versatility in his music which explains the bilingual flows and foreign song presence. Tay was first introduced to rapping in the 3rd grade with now long time friend and fellow OPA (One hundred Percent Approved) artist, OPA J Millz. It was evident that LaMonte’ had a natural talent which then led to now having over 11k plays on several songs on SoundCloud and over 105k plays across all streaming platforms. Performing on carnival cruise lines, has motivated Forye to extend his fan base overseas hoping to support the culture of worldwide hip hop. With his new sounds going viral on tik tok, this artist is well excepted overseas and soon the whole world.
