The Return

"This ep called ‘Claudinè’ is a story of a girl with deteriorating problems with her health. Paralleled with her decaying physical state, Claudinè is experiencing a decline in emotional contact with her relationships, as she soon becomes more and more distant. She closes herself off, remaining isolated to console herself.
To evoke the decay and monotonous nature of her life, we decided to convey this through the harmonies and sorrowful piano melodies and ambience, and the static nature of the songs, not moving anywhere, remaining in a seemingly indefinite stasis."

This is an old version of an ambient piece I wrote that ended up being in collaboration with Kaisaku & Leumas. They completely took this track in a direction that I never thought could be possible, and it has been an amazing experience. The collaboration will be released soon, but I still appreciate this version of the tune for what it is.
