"Cashing in Karma is a genre-bending Alternative Rock project made by Jonny Barrett (Songwriter/Singer) which  features the bass playing of the talented, Dave Bugg and drumming of newcomer, Ben Mehrabian. The project is known for their modern pop-influenced takes on hard rock, post-punk, funk and reggae sounds as well as the zany performances they put on. From the stage antics, crowd interactions and dancing to the oddly paired clothing (You'll know what we're talking about if you've seen them) its all a fun time. 

Jonny Barrett has, so far, written predominately about mental health, introspection, love, relationships, and social issues. It seems as though there is a bit of a personal mission to share what he's learned about coping as is present in the song "Jigsaw Road".  This, paired with the catchy bass-lines by Dave Bugg that serve as the foundation are what make up the back-bone of the feelings Cashing In Karma's music evokes.

Recently, Cashing In Karma began recording material with their new drummer, Ben Mehrabian. The first single is expected to be released at the beginning of 2021.
