 I've had an interest in photography my entire life. I still remember the first time I took a photo for art's sake. I attended Columbia College in Chicago, studying photography and art from 1996-2000. During my studies, I combined my love of photography, with my love of music. Brining my camera into the underground of Chicago's nightlife. From punk rock shows, to illegal raves, I documented as much of my life as as I could. In my early 20's, I moved west with my now husband, Thano. Falling in love with giant landscapes, my work took a turn outside. Documenting all the beautiful places we traveled. Living in South Lake Tahoe, CA gives me the best of both worlds! Where music & nature collides, and I get to enjoy all aspects of my passions. From spending my days adventuring in the mountains I call home, to dancing my stress away at night. It truly is a magical place! 

Growing up in Chicago's underground, I have a passion for minimal techno that has spanned a lifetime. My music has been heavily influenced by the 90s rave scene that shaped my youth. Dancing has always fueled my soul, and I want to share that energy with you on the dancefloor. As co-owner and photographer of TTC this is another way for me to share my love of music with you!

Who is Lady Jane? When I was born, we lived in Chicago (Rogers Park), and I spent a lot of time at my grandparents house (also in the city). Whenever I misbehaved, or did anything she did't like, my grandmother would call me Lady Jane, or use the phrase "Don't be a Lady Jane" - I don't have Jane anywhere in my name, not my middle name, not any name. I never understood where that nickname came from, especially since she only used it when she was mad at me. Many years went by where she called me Lady Jane way more often than she would say Erin. For a long time I would shudder anytime I heard the word lady, it always had a negative association for me. When I stared to DJ, Thano asked me what my DJ name was... without skipping a beat, I said Lady Jane. I hadn't ever thought about it before, but in that moment I reclaimed my nickname. One that used to be associated with negative emotions, it was never used in love. I decided to change that, I wanted to fully heal. This year, I finally asked my parents why she used to call me that. It turns out it was in reference to Chicago's mayor at the time... Jane Byrne. The press used to refer to her as Lady Jane... and she was not a fan. Lady Jane, was mayor when house music was born... the foundation of our scene. I had already reclaimed my name, but knowing the history makes it even more special to me, as an homage to the community that shaped my life.

I'm half Canadian and half Asian. A really good friend of mine introduced me to trance & electronic music when I was in high-school and I immediately fell in love with the genre.

Somewhere in 2019, after years of traveling for various music festivals as a mean to escape my professional job.... I finally decided to start mixing my favorite music in my spare time!
