Over the years, Oliver Koletzki has continuously cited Berlin as a point of reference and, more importantly, a source of inspiration. Two of his albums – Großstadtmärchen and Großstadtmärchen 2 – have been a direct ode to the capital. Friedrichshain, one of Berlin’s vibrant districts, has always held a special place in Oliver’s heat. This is where he started out when he first moved to the city, and this is where he lives now. Moreover, the Stil vor Talent HQ is situated in the centre of the bustling Kiez. 

So is Schneeweiss, one of Friedrichhain’s best and most loved restaurants. Over the course of eight years, the stylish eatery has impressed many a Berlin foodie with its contemporary take on alpine cuisine and attention to detail. Music is part of the experience here, which is no surprise due to one of the owners’ extensive background in Berlin’s club scene of the early days. This lovely tune that sounds like it was ripped from a 90s underground house record. Its not though, no samples, all new recordings. So if you are into the 90s sound here's a tune that is 100% true to its inspiration.

If you like Larse, Patrick Podage and Finnebassen.... then this one is for you. 
Melancholic, emotional and deep. 

Dale Howard - The Hook 
On the 90s sounding tip but this time with a more uk garage approach to the production and arrangement.  The hook is just irresistable with its funky groove and oldschool vocal lines.

Oldschool organ house with infectious vocals to keep you locked in all the way though.
Another slab of 90s inspired house with a great vocal on top.

Emanuel Satie - Lost Control 
This track has the deephouse feel you know from the previous SC&NR EPs but its more housey and would also be playable for the primetime sets. Catchy vocals and lovely bassline and melodies to complete the pleasure.

Bluford Duck 
Extremely groovy, simple and cleverly done. 
Back to basics production with an addictive vibe.

Einmusik - Those Said 
Here's one of those 2nd chances. 
A track by Einmusik that has recieved some amazing reactions in the clubs around the world but it has only been available via his album release on iTunes. Einmusik is a brilliant producer and this track deserves some extra attention.

V/A - Second Chances & New Romances Vol. 5 - Noir Music

NastyFunk's 8th release sees more fresh talent recruited to their ranks, in the guise of Spain's Yeray Herera. The "Get Back" EP is a rare gem, as with each of it's 2 original mixes and 2 remixes, every track has the individual power to fill any dancefloor in it's own unique way. The title track for example, Get Back, is a hugely pumping groover, and a true testament to the theory that simplicity rules in deep house music. The catchy bassline and mega-cool sporadic vocals ensure this is a cool bomb for any occasion. In contrast, the B Side, No More, keeps the feel of the release but changes the mood via an uplifting atmospheric number filled with feelgood reverberations and soft grooves, all the while hinting at an oldschool vibe, truly reminiscent of a bygone genre. 

The 2 remixes on the release are vastly different in what they achieve; Erik Christiansen's take on proceedings adds some organic touches and turns up the funkometer to 10 in his version of the original, working with the bass, vocals and percussion to create a happy, carefree vibe… whilst Toucan pulls out the stops with a superlative disco track, in a wickedly creative edit of the original, bringing a solid groove and poetic touches, coupled with an enormous bass sound, and a well polished finish. 

Get your hands on this one and you won't regret it.

Inspired by Joyce Grandmother's adage, 'keep your friends close and your enemies closer', the title track is uncharacteristically dark, with rolling, moody vocals while the remix has a more brazilian percussive / jackin house flavour.

"Waiting For The Daylight" is a song about a conversation between an Astronaut and his wife. 
The spaceman has been stuck out there for years and is reaching a breaking point. 
He is a kind man on a mission but shows his fragility when he asks about his kids. 
Not knowing what time it is and not being able to listen to his music while even more frighten aliens cross his spaceship is testing very hard on his control. 
He spins between satellites but his hope for the daylight to appear is his only lifeline. 

Dino Lenny about this track: 
"I wrote this track badly playing my 100 year old Piano (recorded with my iphone)   
I was in my living room but like it often happens I felt I was out there in Space. Wondering about and feeling deep immerse in a mission that I didn't really care about.. 
I sometimes ask myself what is the point? But then as usual at the lowest step..  the light appears and I feel like a child in a sweet shop!" 

About Dino Lenny: 
Dino Lenny starts very young as a radio deejay in a small town of the South of Italy, Cassino. After a few years of experience, in the early mid nineties, he is crowned "master of ceremonies" of the Maltese nights, gathering more than 2000 people on the famous Axis' dancefloor. He grows up within an interesting group of lads such as Savino Martinez and Claudio Coccoluto, and in 1996 he decides to seek fortune in the United Kingdom, his native country. In London his career gets a boost thanks to a long series of important remixes: Inxs, Underworld, Missy Elliot, Timbaland etc and the collaborations with The Housemartins, Scissors Sisters & Madonna just to mention a few names. His productions are just as interesting as the remixes and Dino Lenny earns for three times in a row the label of " Essential New Tune" on Radio One (BBC) by Pete Tong. 
Considered "The Wizard of the Electronic music" by the Chemical Brothers, Dino Lenny explores the full range of his potentialities and starts singing. With a simplifying abbreviation of his name, Dino records the single “Call me” which becomes a terrifically popular track all over Europe. The British press defines his vocal talent as a halfway between the Talking Heads and Ian Dury. Dino shows up a perfect Serpico style and sings in front of his raving fans at Tops of the Pops. 
The successful single gives just a hint of what will happen with the release of the album "Might". 
Whilst busy with more important collaborations, Dino is invited by Hardage to take part to his project which includes Jocelyn Brown and Maxi Priest , Level 42 and Peter Gabriel, amongst the others. 
He produces with Steve Lawler under the name Sladly the well received “Unicorn” and writes the soundtrack for one episode of CSI Miami in the middle of the preparation of the next “solo” album. 
A few months later Dino Lenny flies to Montreal to open the UNICEF concert - which gathers more than 7,000 people.  
Dino warms up the audience for Avril Lavigne and at the end of 2011 he performs live with Skin & Underworld at The Brixton Academy 
Lenny has also written the soundtrack for one episodes of CSI Miami and also for Irvine Welsh's film "Ecstasy" 
After David Byrne's approval "I Wanna be Like Talking Heads/ A Dj Deep Inside" gets released on Strictly Rhythm. 
The story continues on his favourite label of the moment.. while he's still "Waiting For The Daylight" to come out soon on Exploited!
