‘With a new mixtape, songwriter and vocalist Aura creates a life-affirming musical collage fit for the hottest season. The project exists in the space between tight pop gloss and a carefully handmade token of love- Aura is credited for the mix under the alias CR3AMER, bringing additional performance and production that makes its presence known. As an MC and vocalist, Aura has that “I could listen to her read the phone book” quality, and her writing is incisive, funny, and always memorable. The project includes Aura's first reggaeton release, "Culo de Oro," and a feature from Pushback 5 producer, eqobKING. “You’re just having fun, I’m having feelings” she sings on the project’s single “fuck off” (presented here in its demo stage), but fun and feelings tend to walk hand-in-hand in A Love Story. The follow-up to her visionary 2020 album, Understanding, Aura makes full use of the mixtape format and proves its vitality beyond Y2k/90s nostalgia fodder. ‘
