Mike Thompson, a.k.a., Vykoda, is a working DJ based out of both San Francisco and Los Angeles, California.

For the past 9 years Vykoda has played hundreds of gigs up and down the Cali coast. Some of the talent he has been privileged to work alongside include: Tasty Treat, G3NIUS, Haydn Hoffman, Joe Deep  (previously Joe D!rt), Dj Cliff, Jason Blakemore, DJ Dirty, E*Rock, Space Race (formerly known as Kid Royale), Ksole, Rowdy Rod, Thee-O, DJ Fester, Von Ukuf, Narkotix, Midnite, John Phillips, DJ Dirty, Wonderbread. He has worked events with Drop Dead Events, Sky Hi Kids, Sigma Nu fraternity (Cal Poly), Beta fraternity (USC), Medicated Events, and also many other unaffiliated parties.

Vykoda's roots in the electronic music scene go back to the 90‘s. While other kids were into whatever the radio played, he was playing American Hardcore Techno, Gabber, Trance and Happy Hardcore.

His DJ sets can contain Electro-House, Trap, Progressive House, Glitch-Hop, Indie Dance, Drum & Bass, Moombahton, and Dubstep all depending on the event’s needs. When playing clubs or parties he incorporates Hip-Hop, Top 40's, Reggae, 80's and Rock to his sets plus electronic genres in a quick-mixing, “open format” style to keep every person on their feet and having a great time. His many years spent on the decks, in front of a crowd, have made it easy for him to read a crowd and play what they want to hear.
