Glass And Steel

C A S T O F F began with the goal to create music for media, showcasing creative steel pan. Since then it has evolved into a continuous search for interesting sounds. A space for collaboration and creativity. 

Bryan Garbe, the creator, has been playing steel pan professionally for two decades. Touring worldwide with various artists and as a clinician at many established universities. He began learning steel pan at the Jim Royle Drum Studio in Bridgeport, Connecticut. On a tour to Trinidad, he had the opportunity to learn from the makers of this great instrument. There, he gained a newfound respect and admiration for the instrument, but the culture and history.

C A S T O F F now brings the steel pan into the cinematic world: enhancing the most intimate to epic of scenes in picture.
