Nostalgia with a twist - Casual Connection brings a freshness to the Disco, Funk & RnB gems that he so expertly curates. Sampling, editing and re-working classic tracks, his productions are respectful of their origination while bringing something modern and inventive to create a genuine and unique signature sound. 

Casual Connection's, aka Lukasz Ru-Kasu absorbed music from an early age as if by osmosis. From age 8 he grew a passion for music and now has been actively DJing since 2002 and producing since 2014.

Since he started producing back in 2014, Casual Connection has been named in Traxsource's Top 100 Nu Disco artists for 7 consecutive years. He has also been featured in DJ Mag, DJ City, Warner Music's Cool Accidents and gotten over 65 #1's on Hyppedit.

As a DJ, Casual Connection has built a strong following in his hometown, Perth, as well as playing gigs in Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Queensland, New Zealand, Taiwan, Thailand, Japan, Indonesia (Bali) & Splendour In The Grass, Club MTV, RnB Friday's, Listen Out Festival, Spiltmilk Festival, Groovin The Moo Festival, VIVID Festival.

As a producer, his tracks are played all over the world with support from some of the biggest names in the game such as All Good Funk Alliance, The Funk Hunters, Featurecast, Dr Packer, DJ Yoda, John Morales, Mark Rae, Pete Herbert, Fort Knox Five, Grant Nelson, The NDYD collective and many others.

Il a su se diversifier, se faisant apprécier partout où il va, que ce soit au travers de ses résidences estivales sur la cote(Lacanau,Cap Ferret...) & hivernales dans les Alpes(Directeur Artistique/Dj aux Menuires), ou encore lors de ces sets dans divers établissements bordelais.

Fort de son expérience, Il a réussi a s’imprégner du meilleur et n'hésite pas à mélanger les styles en proposant lors de ses soirées ses propres remixs/bootlegs avec un certain perfectionnisme.
Il touche aujourd'hui un large public grâce à ses programmations festives et variées faisant de ses sets un mix surprenant par son éclectisme.
