Sophisticated technologies greatly enhanced human intellect and physiology. A new machine-like species beyond humanity is born: fearless, powerful, with no individual will merging into a cybernetic entity with no moral constraints that sees humankind little better than insects. The Engineered Age has begun and brought chaos and disorder to planet Earth. Humankind is threatened and on the brink of exctinction. They are now faced with a rigid dichotomy. The last human lifeforms must unite and revolt against the cybernetic puppets and the suppression by machines, or seek to manipulate artificial intelligence and forge an augmented transmutation of their species, a cybernetic symbiosis. … the synthesizer spoke: ''Arrsiabaaa!!!” and a new project was created in 2016 in Zurich (Switzerland) by Kilian Aregger. Mainly inspired by the infinite universe and its well-guarded secrets, Arsiaba aims to create moments of pure beauty and sheer insanity.

MUSICA E EXPANSÃO

Kendown é um projeto independente de Mauro Dias, artista com 23 anos natural da Bendada no distrito da Guarda, apresentado em formato Live Act. Este projeto situa-se na vertente de Twilight/Forest. No seu trabalho original Kendown explora sonoridades mais obscuras e cinemáticas fazendo uma junção entre timbres metálicos e orgânicos de forma a criar viagens texturalmente complexas. Kendown é um projeto que explora ideias mais experimentais pelo uso de instrumentos ao vivo e técnicas de sound design pouco convencionais trazendo um carácter único à sua música. Depois de ter concluído o 5° grau em clarinete no conservatório e de ter concluído os estudos na licenciatura em Música Eletrónica e Produção Musical na ESART em Castelo Branco, Kendown trás de diferente as ideias, os conteúdos e as técnicas aprofundadas neste curso para dar a conhecer o melhor do seu trabalho.
