I should add and that (sounding like AH) is no bad thing of course. It's impressive and good to hear - nice to know that someone is out there keeping that sort of quality alive ☺️

The Moment

Written one mad night many years ago when Tam's son (who is now in his forties) was still at school. We kept him up half the night whilst writing this (with laughter as much as singing and playing guitars). Tam and I had just watched an episode of Only Fools & Horses (The Jolly Boys Outing) for which Chas & Dave provided the song, Down To Margate. We thought it would be a laugh to write our own Mockney song chucking in as many Cockney phrases as we could think of and inventing a few more. Over the years a select few of my friends down here have heard this and most have suggested that I should put it out there, none were offended. This version was recorded by Tam and Rod Wyatt as a surprise for me when Rod was up in Scotland visiting Tam. Both are sadly no longer with us, but the laughter remains. Oh, and it's not on the album.

These are two songs that I have had in the works for about 5 years now. Finally, they come to fruition. This is a story about leaving home for the first time and realizing everything that you left behind. The second song, Eternity, is about having your heart ripped out. I love the vocals on both of these. I was channeling Adele vocally on Eternity for sure!
