Leeds-based producer, Alex Lindsay combines elements of Trip Hop, Glitch and Dreampop and teams up with friends to put on impressive live electronic performances.

Born in Manchester and based in Leeds, Elefem realised her passion for music creation during lockdown. Her style stems from RnB and incorporates her love of all genres. Undefined.  Elefem writes her own songs, poems and dabbles with music production too. 

Her journey so far has brought her to releasing her debut RnB single in 2023; Nfle (Never Feels Like Enough) after purchasing her first beat from Leeds production team Sage Bxtrd. The beat was then taken to her hometown of Manchester where she recorded, mixed and mastered the single with renowned artist and producer; Abnormal Sleepz. The single went on to be played on radio stations near and far, including getting a spin on BBC Radio Leeds and Unity radio. 

After recording her next few singles, Elefem returns in 2025; a year that feels poignant to her as it is 5 years since she started living her dreams in the lockdown of 2020. 

Written in that time, her next single, What if, is a RnB tale of unrequited love, hope and friendship. What if is a tale of unrequited love and a hope for a change in that situation. A holding on and almost delusion of someone in love with someone close to them.

Elefem's third release, "Loving You," produced by Abnormal Sleepz, is a smooth, lofi-R&B gem. Its killer bassline and fast drums create the perfect drive or chill vibe. The song beautifully captures the pain of returning to a past love, as Elefem wrote it after a playlist song triggered intense memories. The raw lyric, "my music on (I can't) I get choked up (it's my music)!", speaks volumes about letting go. Essential for reflective, atmospheric playlists.
