Episode 57: Price Discovery & Our HIGH Prices This Week

Big volume decrease through the sale barn, but that's expected this time of year. Calf prices took off and were $2 - $3 higher; butcher prices were nearly the same as last week. An important cattle reform (bipartisan) bill was reintroduced in D.C. this week - The Cattle Price Transparency Act is what it's called. It's a good thing. Hopefully The American Beef Labeling Act (aka: MC.O.O.L) will follow suit. We need more protection for our nation's cattle producers.
