Mixtapes have always been a massive part of me as an artist. When I play a live DJ set it’s usually peak time and I cater the music for the dance floor. When I make a mixtape you get the whole of me. 

For me it’s about going on a journey...  Exploring music, the tiny details, the intricate mixing, you can put your style across in a completely unique and personal way and I love that. 

I spent days searching for the beats to include in this mix. It was important for me to use a wide range of music from new and unheard exclusives, current tracks, older tracks as well as some classics that both influenced me through the years and that I still drop in sets today to great effect. Music really is timeless and I wanted this mix to be exactly that.

This Essential Mix is a full representation of my sound and style at this time in my career and was an absolute honour to make.

Download, burn to cd, nod head, simples :-) On Sunday 6th July 2008 on an inner-city beach in Digbeth, a party... brand... and new way of life; 'GLAS' was born! Setting out with the clear aim to be different, good people and good music created an environment, atmosphere and experience like no other! 4 years on and its safe to say that the boundaries of what was considered the norm have been tested, twisted and blown away. 80's Rave's, School Disco's, Wig Parties, Moustache Mayhem, Monster Bashes, Amenisa Terrace, Es Paradis, SuperPrides and plenty of other events have seen venue transformations, pyrotechnics, light shows, entertainers, world-renowned DJ talent and crowds from 400-4000 care-free, hedonistic ravers sticking two fingers up to those who conform to normal society and showing everyone else how to really party! 

Our thanks go out to all of you that have made GLAS what it is today! On Sunday 8th July, Join us for our HUGE 4th birthday where we'll be doing it all again!
