Only Lonely is an extension of singer-songwriter, rapper, and producer Noah Meadors. Originally intended to be a duo project, Meadors had no luck in finding a vocalist and continued to release music under the name. It has since become a persona, and Meadors has released three albums, three extended plays, and a slew of singles and side projects as Only Lonely.

This is the label page for the artists with Defiant Recordz. We are a hip-hop label seeking to bring solidity and substance back to hip-hop. We believe strongly in lyrical content and versatility. Defiant is more than a name, it is also a belief system stating that we will not conform, we will not obey, we will make our own lane. In an attempt to break the mold of what society deems acceptable Defiant artists will bring adversity to authority, love to haters, interaction to the fans and real music back to the people.

The music should speak for itself.  At this point in my life, I feel like I understand Jagger as he sang the lyrics “...stick a knife in my heart...Suicide right on stage...Would it be enough…”  Other musicians have expressed similar meaning, such as Layne writing, “My gift of self is raped, my privacy is raked”.  I’m certainly surprised at the ease at which I freely give you my deepest thoughts, “untold” secrets, and innermost desires.  These songs contain my life…pure, unadulterated personal truth at your disposal.  My ultimate goal is genuine self-expression that I’ve never been able to fully grasp through simple conversation.
