Singer Songwriter,  recording artist and performing artist.  Kwesi grew up in a small town in St. Lucia. He loved music from an early age - his earliest memory was trying to mimic Michael Jackson’s dance moves, and hoping that he was Michaels biggest fan. Some years later he got drafted into a primary school choir where he realized that he had some vocal potential. He later became fascinated with music from "Boys to Men" among the more popular groups of the 90’s, and formed a group to perform covers of popular R&B and hip hop. After moving on from the R&B music genre, he started experimenting with calypso music, and in 1997 became Calypso king of St. Mary s College High school. His journey then took him to experiment with reggae, nayahbinghi, traditional Caribbean and African music which is the life blood of his creative intelligence. His songs elicit love, heartbreak, and resilience, and his sound has been likened to Damian Marley meets Jack Johnson.
