Representing Washington DC and the 2Tuff Soundsystem, please welcome DJ Slant. He is a cornerstone of Washington DC’s underground sound and a co-founder of the legendary 2Tuff Productions, established in 1994. One of the original East Coast jungle DJs, Slant has been championing drum & bass for over 30 years worldwide. With 2Tuff at the helm, he’s been instrumental in building the foundation of DC’s D&B scene through iconic events that continue to inspire new generations.

CB₁ first stood behind tables in 1994. Born in Minnesota, but raised in North Carolina, CB₁ cut his teeth as a small town junglist in the underground Carolina dance scene during the mid to late 90’s. After a short hiatus from DJing, he spent over a decade in Washington, DC where he became a member of the Tribalistix Crew. CB₁ now resides in the greater Denver Metro area and is a resident DJ for Drum and Bass Proper and UKG Proper where he hosts a monthly UK Garage night in the lounge of the iconic Black Box, Denver. While still firmly rooted in Jungle, CB₁ has been known to spin all forms of bass heavy broken beats from dark minimal rollers, ragga jungle to techstep/neurofunk, intelligent jazzy DnB, UKG, and liquid.
