Doing these mixes every week has brought me closer to this music. I don't think I expected that but it is pretty special to me now. I love it. Thanks guys! 
 In honor of our 52nd episode, we have a very special guest. Please welcome DARCIIDARKA....I'd have to say that me and Darcii didn't exactly hit it off when we met. I was rude. we had BEEF! ...Straight thuggin for real. hahaha. Then we met in person and squashed that shit in 2 seconds, mixed  B2B for 6 hours at a festival, and became fast friends.  Fast forward to right now. Darcii is like a sister to me. She's the shit. I'd have to say she is the reigning Queen of Central Florida dnb. Iv'e seen her upcoming bookings and she's about to be busy...like really busy... like she isn't already. Not only does she run her own successful dnb monthly, (Renegade Sound, Gainesville) She's also the hardest working DJ I know. She's everywhere! Putting in the work, grinding this shit out, and chasing her dream. Hell yeah! I admire the dedication to the craft and the respect given to this music we all love. Gwan DARCII

DARCIIDARKA is a Drum & Bass DJ originally from Burlington, VT who currently resides in Gainesville, FL. Darcii translates as ‘the dark one’ in French and over the years acquired the nickname Darka. In her earlier years she performed at underground raves, festivals and nightclubs all over New England and hosted several residencies. Within the last two years she has made waves in the southeast, sharing stages with LTJ Bukem, Bryan Gee, Jumping Jack Frost, Mampi Swift, DJ SS, DJ Craze, T.R.A.C., Aphrodite, The Prototypes, Matrix and Futurebound, FAVA, Dieselboy, AK 1200, Dave Owen, SOLA, Jaybee and Monk just to name a few. Representing the genre proper, she is the founder of the legendary monthly event ‘Renegade Sound’ at Signal in GVL and is resident DJ at both Signal and historic Simons. Making moves Darcii & Renegade Sound hosted the World of Drum & Bass 2023 Tour at Simons in Gainesville and several other events. Whether she is out playing shows or home recording mixes, promoting the genre or supporting her peers, she is extremely community driven and one of the hardest working artists in the state. Not to mention a RUDEGIRL on the decks with her deep, dark, captivating style. Stay tuned for more to come from this loyal junglist soldier…the dark one.

CB₁ first stood behind tables in 1994. Born in Minnesota, but raised in North Carolina, CB₁ cut his teeth as a small town junglist in the underground Carolina dance scene during the mid to late 90’s. After a short hiatus from DJing, he spent over a decade in Washington, DC where he became a member of the Tribalistix Crew. CB₁ now resides in the greater Denver Metro area and is a resident DJ for Drum and Bass Proper and UKG Proper where he hosts a monthly UK Garage night in the lounge of the iconic Black Box, Denver. While still firmly rooted in Jungle, CB₁ has been known to spin all forms of bass heavy broken beats from dark minimal rollers, ragga jungle to techstep/neurofunk, intelligent jazzy DnB, UKG, and liquid.
