First of all, I'm a songwriter... not a singer (well, ok, I sing by default), not a producer, and on most days, not even a very proficiant musician..Simply, a songwriter. I've been writing songs for 30 plus years.. I started when I was a young kid..it's what I love to do! I played in bands during the 80's and 90's. I got saved in 2003..Jesus changed
 my life, AND my music! I write whatever I am led to write. I'm not bound to any particular subject. My influences are songwriters, arrangers, and performers such as, The Carpenters, The Captain and Tennille, John Farrar, Neil Sedaka, Paul Williams, Jimmy Webb, Glen Campbell, Olivia Newton-John, ABBA, Alan Bergman, Lawrence Welk, all types of 40's music, Big band, etc... all the music I grew up listening to...and yes, including Opera. There are so many! I just love good music..a good song..and these days, it's not easy to come by! I believe it's about the song, and that's what I focus on..THE SONG.
