There are theories that Omega Centauri is the core of a dwarf galaxy that was absorbed by the Milky Way in the past. This is indicated in particular by its large size and other characteristics unusual for globular clusters.

One of the features of the Omega Centauri Cluster is that the stars in it have different ages and metallicities, while in most clusters they form almost simultaneously and have almost no difference in chemical composition. The cluster has stars between 10 and 12 billion years old and has not formed uniformly but in at least two bursts of star formation. This cluster is the first to feature stars from different populations.

In 2008, a paper was published which claimed that the cluster had a black hole of moderate mass at its centre. This was indicated by an increased concentration of stars towards the centre and high velocities in the centre, and the mass of the black hole was estimated to be 40000 solar masses.

However, later work in 2010 showed that there could not be a black hole of such mass in the cluster. The existence of a black hole has not been disproved in principle, but an upper limit of its possible mass has been set at 12000 solar masses

He picked up mixing at around the young age of 16, and from that moment on, music became a life path. Growing up during the acid house and Balearic era, the spark was lit early. His first love was Jungle Music and like any true selector, his vinyl collection exploded fast. He chased fresh sounds relentlessly, from early radio sessions in the '90s on stations like Weekend Rush, Pressure FM, Rinse FM, Unknown FM, Deja Vu, and Magic FM, all the way through to building one of the most respected Sunday shows on Rinse FM itself. Caspa lived through multiple waves of dance music, growing to a seasoned club DJ. He’s played up and down the UK and regularly traveled abroad. The sound on this podcast is 100% unreleased music from his friends in the scene. In addition to his club and radio legacy, DJ Caspa also curates his own acclaimed podcast series Upfront & Personal, known for hosting high-calibre guests such as Chris Stussy, Mr G, Djoko, Josh Butler, Anotr, Sidney Charles, Larry da Kat and many more.
