	     all i was began as a solo project in 2002, coerced in to the vehement Industrial Beast that it now is by sole founding member Eye, A symbolic figure whose character seems intrinsically interwoven with a mysterious balance of light and dark and whose message is bled through the electronic beats and guitar grinding solos of his music. It's easy to label this kind of music as Industrial at first listen, but after listening for a while, you will start to wonder what genre you're truly listening to. Suspended in a dark canopy of what seems to be Industrial, Experimental Goth Rock, Eye's tainted wails and angst driven growls seem a matching assailant, bout against the salient harmony of soul-filled vocals, sometimes raw and pungent, others heard drenched in haunting hollows of reverb, all of which mostly seem grown from their "true to rock and roll" Rhythm and Blues roots.
     Eye began to write for the project at the adolescent age of 15, elaborating on the core concept of all I was for nine years, considering and fleshing out several album ideas in the process of it's creation. Now with  nearly a decade of writing and conceptualizing, his first official demo is drawing to a close. It's easy to see the talent involved in it's creation. All the songs on the album were written, recorded, mixed, edited and produced by Eye alone; A considerable amount of work for one soul. With more material on the way, and live shows to be expected soon, I'm sure we can anticipate a great deal more from such a talented young Artist. I think we've only begun to see Eye open up before us, not just with his musical talents but, even more intriguing, the direction of his message. Stay tuned for updates and future releases.
