This is a collection of a handful of my music. They have a wide range of styles from rock, to orchestral, to electronic and everything in between. All Tracks

Sometimes I heard people say, "All you have to do is load up *insert DAW here* with some cracked version of *insert library here*, hit a few keys, and you can call yourself a composer. *grumble grumble grumble*"

While the industry has progressed where amateurs have access to tools that can produce high quality music, I take it personal when people make statements such as the above. People are able to create and share music these days with such speed and quality that it's amazing what one can do in the name of music and art.

I take my music very personally. I write music every chance I can get and I see myself writing music until the day I die. I may not have been classically trained, I may not be able to fully write and comprehend handwritten scores, but I do feel that I am competent musician and I have a developed my own personal style over the course of several years.

I can't possibly imagine what kind of stuff I will be writing in 5, 10, or 15 years. Never did I thought that I would be love writing music such as this. This song is a reflection of a chapter in my life. 9 is an arbitrary number, but the music absolutely reflects my state of mind this very second. I didn't write the music because I was copying someone, because someone told me to, because it's all I know how to do... I wrote this song because it is a direct extension of my emotions.

Sometimes it's hard to describe that to someone, non-musicians, grumpy egotistical musicians, amateur musicians... But some of you may understand what I mean. No matter what your background, no matter where you come from, your music is an extension of you. So please, enjoy this track and I hope it inspires you.

Chapter 9

This is an old track I wrote before 2008. I redid this track in 2010 and realized this is one of the best pieces I've written. I fell in love with this myself but it lacked maturity and depth. I could redo this song over and over, and it would never feel complete. No matter how many times I mix it, it will never sound right. I hope you connect with this piece in some form or another. Maybe in a few more years I will expand this and make it 16 minutes with a part 2. There is something about this song that makes me never want to end it. EXTENDED:

I extended this song to just about double the length. It just felt right. And I hope it still feels as cohesive. I had tons of creativity juices flowing, so why not? Hope you enjoy the second half of the song. 

Tasting Peaches

Orchestral "war" cue. Emotional and victorious. Heroic and epic. Faster paced, big ending. Moving strings.

London Blitz Part 2

Rock/electronic infused orchestral. Heavy up front drums, thick strings, piano driven.

Black Puppies

Orchestral track. Slow swells/crescendos, mellow horns, very little percussion, I'd say very much horn driven. A bit different from my normal work. In fact, if I could self critique, I would say this shows a bit more maturity and progress in my writing and MIDI programming and how much faster I've become at doing so. There is still much to learn and more work to be done. But for a days worth of work (8 hours or so writing and programming), I'm satisfied with this completed track.

The closed voice horns reminds me of LA Noire. Probably subconscious :) Hope you enjoy!

None Of It Is Enough

Hornet

Dark Orchestral track with some heavy drums.

ClockStop

Powerful, epic orchestral track with a hint of synths. Heavily piano driven. Polyrhythmic 

Monstaaa

Percussive track, resembles trailer music. Fast paced and drum driven. Little bits of violin, viola, bass, and french horn. Features stutters, glitches and delays

Going Alone

Don't mind the artifacting in the middle of the track, that's what happens when soundcloud transcodes to 128kbps :) 

Hybrid orchestral track. Features primarily strings and rhythmic drums with a synth overlay. Long mellow build up in the middle leads to a big ending.

Tin Can

Upbeat dance track with lots of heavy synths, deep bass, and a pumping rhythm.

Dance Max

Cinematic electronic orchestral piece featuring droney synths, driving drums and big horns interweaved with electronic drums.

Stampede

Originally wrote this for the "Ravaged" theme song competition. Post-apocalyptic heavy rock/orchestral track.

Ravaged

An eerie horror style piece inspired by many zombie video games and films. It has a slight hybrid electronic feel but also has epic strings.

Someone Else's Horror

This track was inspired by the Max Payne 3 soundtrack. It's very video game esque and can be broken into two parts. The first half can be seen as an in-game loop which demands urgency, which goes into an emotional action piece. It comes back down and goes into a hip-hop style beat with the same repeating melody.

Epic Pictures

This track is very much inspired by Clint Mansell's score of Requiem for a Dream. I wanted some beauty to come out of some darkness, and the way this piece progressed actually surprised me as my original mock up was much different. I really hope you enjoy this piece, it's something you really have to sit down from start to finish to understand and I hope you appreciate the gravity of this piece! :)

Perception

This is a heroic epic theme. I'm a huge fan of the Inception (Movie) soundtrack, and I wanted to create a piece inspired by the movie. This track, in other words, is my take on the movie and it's dream world. I kept the theme simple but I also wanted to layer, layer and layer, hopefully providing some depth and emotion. I hope you enjoy, try not to dream too much.

Beas

This is a track very much inspired by the Mass Effect soundtrack. I originally wrote a piece that I thought was my own, but realized I pretty much copied the Mass Effect tune, even in the same key. I didn't even realize that the inspiration had come from playing Mass Effect until it just hit me. Doh! 

Frustrated that I thought I had something great, I scrapped it, took a break and started over. This piece is a result of that. There is also a little bit of BSG influence in there :) Enjoy!

Lucky

Hi there! My name is Cleveland and I am the owner of Bledsoe Audio. I do professional audio for video games, film, and television. I do everything from music composition, to sound effects creation, to editing and mixing. A lot of the work I do in Hollywood is film related - But I am also a HUGE gamer! 

I graduated with a BAS in Audio Engineering in 2009 at Ex'pression College for Digital Arts, and I immediately started working for WaveGroup Sound, the studio responsible for a lot of the audio work done on the Guitar Hero and Rock Band video game series. From there I moved to Los Angeles and started doing contracting film work for Audio Post Production facilities. I've spent the last few years doing a lot of my video game work at my home studio, and I've been focusing on reaching out to both indie developers and film makers and mid-sized studios providing my full range of skills. 

I've worked on projects big and small, and I have been fortunate to work on projects such as "Duty Calls" which was a playable promotional parody on Call of Duty for the game "Bulletstorm." I've also worked on numerous iOS games as well as movies for the Lifetime Network and "Ball Up," a reality TV show on Fox Sports.
