Lockdown

The punch list on this Buchla Rebuild project is getting pretty short. I still need to build some stuff, and I have a module incoming, but what's here seems to be working, just in time for a Lunar Asylum session in a little over a week.

Three channels of the  Keen 282e are triggered from three mono sequences from Numerology. Pulses from 282e are what triggers the envelopes, and each 282e function output is controlling the slow timbrel evolution per voice.

In A Lunar Mood

Fun with the 288r.

I start out showing the source material: four synced eight step sequences playing very simple notes. I play each seq individually, then play them all together. This is the only sound source. I then turn the dry off, and we only hear the wet for the rest of this track. I start and stop the source sequences, but don't do anything else to the source. 

One side is the mix on the sliders, and the other is quiet->louder. 

The feedback is sometimes from the longest tap, and sometimes from a mix.

I play with delay time a few times, and a change feedback a bit.

Big Feedback

Here's a track driven from a Pendulum/Ratchet, pulsing a bunch of stepped random voltages (from S/H modules & 266) which are controlling things like pitches, mixes, envelope times, and 288r delay time. The 288r is just ubiquitous in this track.

Lemon Squeezy

This is one pitch on the carrier oscillator, sweeping the main wave folder control with a slow repeating envelope, and tweaking the various other wave folder controls manually. Eventually I play with Linear FM, the Timbre Mod Bus, PWM, and flip sync. I was not particularly careful with the pitch of the mod oscillator.

It's not music.  It's also too long.

Brenso - Fold, Spindle, And Mutilate

This track is sort of unusual in that I overdubbed the "lead."

Half Measures (But No Half Steps)

This is mostly Frap Tools Brenso, feeding Rings as a fliter, and Agustus Loop (in Disting EX). There are a couple short bursts of over-reverbed other sources.

I was going through my hard drive and found this track  from Spring 2017. It shows off a couple custom looping algorithms I did for the Eventide Orville. It could have been chopped into two tracks, around about the seventeen minute mark, but I liked the flow.
