Florent Latorre (born March 14, 1989) is an French musician operating under many pseudonyms. Since 2008, his most widely distributed electronic music has been released under the name of Milkyway Project. His style differs strongly between albums, but they all have a cohesive bond tied around intricate drum programming, jazz-influenced melodies, and a wide array of live instrumentation from various instruments Latorre has acquired.

(Quick note: I've taken nearly a 12 year hiatus from music due to dealing with life events and personal struggles, but I'm back, and I am now preparing to re-emerge as my FINAL FORM with a new name change to FIT!)

ABOUT ME:
I'm an EDM producer with live performance aspirations. I make the kind of music I WANT to listen to. There's so many amazing artists out there and the world of electronic music is a truly fascinating, inspiring, and colorful world that I've been getting lost in since I was a preteen. I love blending elements of Dubstep/Riddim/MidTempo, Electro, House, Complextro, Hardstyle, Trap, Chiptunes, and Synthwave/Cyberpunk. I'm drawn to intricate synthwork and basslines that weave and play off one another with a STRONG focus on melody. Occasionally pure genres emerge in my work but the majority of my songs are pretty much hybridized blends of whatever is inspiring me at the time.
