This is my recording from Friday night Room 2, 12:30-2am, my first time being at the mythical Free Rotation. Playing one of the first sets & seeing the room, decor and the big bad subs of Room 2, years of fantastical lore and reality melded, I wanted to keep it sexy, wonky, trippy— imagining a psychic electric swamp and how one would levitate thru it... to the sky. No bpm trickery this time. Out to the heavenly bodies of the universe! ;)

Advice for the DJs, producers and artists of our community:  Don't let anyone tell you it's too late to do anything. Building a system around you that uplifts community and challenges systemic oppression is of the utmost importance, there is no singular success. Show utmost respect to those who you encounter who are working behind the scenes on work that contributes to this vision. Don't let other people's expectations and desires play into how you feel about your contribution to what you do.

This is a recording of my opening set before Maayan Nidam in March of 2018, one of my first times playing a weekend in a large club (Smarbar Chicago). I was so nervous for this set and and it still stands out in my memory. :)

Last December @CCL-tuf and I were invited to play an all night back to back set at a party called High & Tight in Seattle. H&T is one of those parties that you dream of playing, where every detail from the sound to the setting is perfectly thought out and where the crowd stays with you for every twist and turn. We ended up playing for almost 9 hours (although actually I had to leave for the airport before the end.) This excerpt is the first 3 hours, slowly and carefully heating the soup before bringing things to a boil.
