Q. How long have you been a part of the NY music scene?
A. I moved to NY in September of 2021. I had started to meet the seedlings of my now friends and budding community when I played here earlier in the summer of 2021 and before that, when I went to Sustain in 2019.

Q. Tell us a little bit about this mix.
A. This mix is:

1/2 the sequel to my beloved Honcho dubstep mix from 2021
1/2 a mix of music I would have shown to my baby stoner self in high school, instead of the carefully curated Majestic Casual-ridden playlists she was dutifully crafting at the time to accompany her equally intricate apple pipes.

Playing one of the first sets & seeing the room, decor and the big bad subs of Room 2, years of fantastical lore and reality melded, I wanted to keep it sexy, wonky, trippy— imagining a psychic electric swamp and how one would levitate thru it... to the sky. An unexpected sequel, exploring the same records and moods as a previous recording in Beijing. This is taken from a recent show for Nurture x Liminal Dreams at The Observatory in Saigon. The plan had been a full spectrum set, but the energy did not feel right. Instead, I decided to play warm and comforting beats, focusing on my musical 'childhood', records from the late 90s - mid 00s. The mixing and presentation is meant to be gentle and relaxing. Enjoy.

Carrying on from some legendary parties before it, the next generation of ravers held 'plur' true to it's og meaning. Young Harry (Peanut) and I had been mixing together and talking about tunes we loved for months leading up to the event. We played in the side room while the morning light slowly poured in, all the homies in the front and gun fingers to the back. Big party mode with some blissy ones, freedom while it lasted, and a fun one to listen back to. Big thanks to everyone who hosted and the dancers!
