Isadoser has created a new dreamlike atmosphere for the track "Na Hora do Almoço" by Belchior, Brazil's best-loved composers. (@isadoser)

The semiconscious state of the world of imagination, connecting without commitment facts and fictions, is the thematic-musical chosen to represent the sequences of release "Devaneio" (“Daydream”). Have you ever had the feeling of not knowing if you are awake or dreaming? We can concentrate our mental energy on the "here and now" but it can be healthy to allow ourselves the privilege to let our minds wander.

We thank the group of artists who kindly offered their compositions. It is an interesting mix of producers, pushing the sound in all sorts of new directions. We shared out the clipping among five releases, which tends towards the slow feelings. It seems like a vortex whose fluency explores elements of a fantastic world, which populates a dreamlike universe. This universe reproduces a little of the daydreaming’s wit, whose randomness is a striking fact. Therefore, the question that channels this whole plot is simple. What happens next?

O estado semiconsciente do mundo da imaginação, conectando sem compromisso fatos e ficções, é o recorte temático escolhido para representar as seqüências de lançamento "Devaneio". Você já teve o sentimento de não saber ao certo se você está acordado ou sonhando? Podemos concentrar nossa energia mental no "aqui e agora", mas pode ser saudável permitir-nos o privilégio de deixar nossas mentes vagarem.

Agradecemos ao grupo de artistas que gentilmente ofereceram suas composições. É uma mistura interessante de produtores, empurrando o som em todos os tipos de novas direções. Nós dividimos as faixas entre cinco lançamentos, que tendem para os sentimentos lentos. Parece como um vórtice cuja fluidez explora elementos de um mundo fantástico, que povoam um universo onírico. Esse universo reproduz um pouco da sagacidade do devaneio, cuja aleatoriedade é um fato marcante. Assim, a pergunta que canaliza todo esse enredo é simples. O que acontece depois?

Hailing from Arcoverde, in the semi-arid desert interior of Pernambuco, Samba de Coco Raízes de Arcoverde was formed in 1992 by Lula Calixto and the Lopes sisters. Elaborating on a unique form of regional northeastern Afro-Brazilian culture, their recent album produced by Maga Bo, pulled them outside of their comfort zone to bring in new instruments, arrangements and sounds. The first time alfaias, caixas, timbaus, electronic dub FX and heavy sub bass have been included in their sound!
Kaxambu Records endeavored to take their sound even further by calling in a cadre of heavy weight Brazilian DJs to remix the album. They went the distance, deftly and naturally situating the original rhythms, melodies, instruments and voices within the cutting edge world of modern electronic bass music - from the psychedelic, evolving arrangements of Psilosamples and Carrot Green to the digi-dancehall ragga cuts of Chico Correa to the moombahton oscillations of Lucio K.
