Born and raised in Lima, Peru, Christian Berger is a multifaceted DJ, producer, musician, and sound designer with more than 25 years of experience shaping electronic music across the globe. As a former member of the acclaimed duo Deaf Pillow, Christian built a reputation for his deep, atmospheric sound and genre-defying sets. Today, he is one half of the Oblique-Live project alongside his brother Alexander Berger and a co-founder of the m0dulab collective, a creative hub dedicated to pushing the boundaries of live performance, sound design, and immersive audiovisual experiences.
For 14 years, Christian was a long-time resident at Superclub, a pivotal chapter that refined his craft and solidified his presence in Peru’s electronic music scene.
Over the years, Christian has performed on some of the world’s most renowned stages, bringing his hypnotic, genre-bending sound to festivals and clubs such as Sunwaves, Extrema Outdoors, Creamfields, La Huaka BF, tINI & The Gang, Circoloco, Elrow, Get Out, Cocoon, Vatos Locos, Heart Festival, Club der Visionäre, Pacha, The Electric Pickle, Rebel Rave, Flying Circus, Motion, among many others.
 
His tours have taken him to Buenos Aires, Santiago de Chile, Bogotá, Miami, New York, Los Angeles, London, Barcelona, Madrid, Ibiza, Antwerp, Amsterdam, Berlin, and countless other cities, where he continues to captivate audiences with his eclectic yet coherent sonic narratives.
Throughout his career, Christian has shared the stage with an impressive roster of industry icons, including Ricardo Villalobos, Richie Hawtin, Carl Cox, Marco Carola, Loco Dice, Dubfire, Sasha & John Digweed, Hernán Cattáneo, Danny Howells, tINI, Apollonia, Arpiar, Danny Tenaglia, Sonja Moonear, Jamie Jones, Michael Bibi, Audiofly, Damian Lazarus, Tale of Us, Maceo Plex, Seth Troxler, Adam Beyer, Amelie Lens among many others.
On the biggest stages, he has performed alongside legends such as Andy Fletcher (Depeche Mode), Peter Hook (New Order), David Guetta, Skrillex, Paul Van Dyk, Armin van Buuren, Deadmau5, The Black Eyed Peas, and even Britney Spears — a testament to his versatility and adaptability across genres.
With an ear for innovation and a passion for crafting immersive soundscapes, Christian seamlessly blends his roles as DJ, producer, sound engineer, and sound designer. Whether performing solo, under past projects like Deaf Pillow, Vich & Berger or with Oblique-Live, his sets are journeys designed to propose rather than impose — inviting audiences into his sonic universe rather than dictating it.

Seeing, and envisioning - that is of enormous relevance to Hell. He managed to convey pure artistic prowess as well as pure style during his thirty year DJ career. The individual look, the do-it-yourself approach, the elitism. That's how it grew.
