Hailing from Long Island, NY, Typ is no stranger to the Hip Hop scene where legends like Rakim, Public Enemy, Keith Murray, Method Man, EPMD, De La Soul are from.  Not to say he hasn't seen life on the West Coast during the prime of the West Coast era (93-96)with Snoop, Dre, and Pac.  Typ iLL is an artist who has seen both coasts in the game as well as both sides of the world spending 6 years Active Duty and 2 tours of combat in the Middle East.  It is safe to say he has a loaded clip and is ready to let off a few rounds into the music industry (no pun intended).
