For a decade now Peyton has continued to deliver many of the records that have been filling dance floors across the globe.  From the gospel soul and Balearic grooves that define his early sound, to the deeper, more progressive beats that have made him such a hit with Ibiza's hardcore clubbers . . .  Peyton's music has evolved and changed, but the essence of his work has remained very much the same.  Working in a genre of music that changes almost monthly, Peyton has successfully stayed at the forefront of dance music, collaborating with many of the world's best producers and establishing himself as one of the most recognisable voices and figures on the scene today.  'A Decade In Peyton's House' is a trip down dance music-memory lane, from Peyton's first-ever hit on Hed Kandi records with A Higher Place, to a selection of some of his best-loved releases over the years, including the more recents hits that have kept him in demand as a writer, vocalist and performer the whole world over.

From the beach bars in Boracay, to sunsets at Cafe del Mar . . .  Peyton's voice is likely to have serenaded you through a few lychee martinis on holiday at some point during the last decade.  Working with long-time collaborator and House music legend, Eric Kupper, Peyton has written and recorded much of his best work in the genre that has come to be known as 'Beach House.'  From the Latin beats in Kupper's mix of I'll Rise, to the soaring summer emotions of Holiday . . .  this is a Peyton compilation for starry nights, road trips with the windows down and pool-side dreaming.

The long-awaited first official LP from Michigan-based producer Sango, North, will release digitally on Soulection July 23, 2013 with vinyl to follow. 

Sango’s North brings forth a new sound, one that pulls from soul, rnb, future bass, hip hop and broken beat fusing them together with seamless vocals chops and grooves. North features collaborations from a diverse group of artists like Australia’s Ta-ku, cinematic downtempo producer Atu, nu-soul singer JMSN, story-telling rapper WALDO, newcomer vocalist Brea and Dpat who produced ‘Remember You’ for Wiz Khalifa and The Weeknd. 

Following major worldwide support for his refixes, EP’s and beat tapes from the likes of Brownswood’s Gilles Peterson, KCRW’s Aaron Byrd, and Noisey (VICE) to name a few, Sango is poised to elevate the definition of what “future” music is. 

10+ casual releases later, North combines the best of Sango over the last few years into one seamless musical journey. North is a love story of two people, on a journey, who find better things in themselves when they are with each other. North in Hebrew as noted visually in the album art [that Sango designed himself], representing a sense of “heaven” or “glory” are symbolic to Sango, as he sees everything he does an artist for the greater glory, the greater good, as something bigger than himself.

Remixes come from a diverse group of producers, with each one bringing a completely different angle to Dillon's subtle and infectious song with Totally Enormous Extinct Dinosaurs.

Dillon kicks things off with his own rework, morphing his track into a big room electro-house tune that's followed up by the super heavy collab from legendary bass kings Flux Pavilion and Doctor P. The track that launched Peyton's career in House as a writer and performer- A Higher Place was first released in 2003 on Hed Kandi records and went on to top music charts all over the world, becoming a personal favourite with many DJ's who now consider it a club classic and one of the defining tracks of that particular era of vocal House!

By 2005, Peyton's gospel-tinged tracks had appeared on quite a few Hed Kandi compilations, and his signature tune A Higher Place, as well the follow-up release I'll Rise had become staples on the Kandi dance floor.  It was this year that saw the release of his debut album, and the vinyl LP with mixes of Higher Place, Celebrate, and Keep The Faith which went straight to #2 in the UK Upfront Club Charts and secured Peyton a reputation as a songwriter and a vocal powerhouse that was here to stay.

His trademark gospel-infused, uplifting sound borrows inspiration from his childhood as the real-life son of a preacher man in Virginia where he grew up. For the past two decades, Peyton has performed in over sixty countries and across six continents, making headline appearances at events like Sydney’s Mardi Gras and the official Beijing Olympics afterparty and also holding summer residencies in Ibiza at Blue Marlin and Space. Peyton has collaborated with some of house music’s most beloved all stars, including the late godfather of house Frankie Knuckles and the legendary Eric Kupper.

In 2022, Peyton co-founded and launched Revival Records, a label and music collective committed to creating high quality dance productions and more opportunities for artists.
