Faced with challenges most would consider insurmountable, Papi AQ has
sought to unite his family and fans through his music. Inspired by hardships he and his family faced back home in Mexico, Papi AQ has tirelessly built his catalogue stressing the importance of perseverance and ambition, while developing a strong Latin-
Canadian connection. Not one to only focus on personal success, Papi AQ is making inroads for the Latino community through his music and initiatives in Toronto.

Born in Monterrey, Mexico before moving to Canada in 2002, Papi AQ has been
a driving force in developing the “Spanglish” community in a country eager for its representation. Teaching himself how to record, Papi AQ relentlessly developed and refined his skills while performing covers, before debuting his patented “Spanglish” sound that blends trap production, with Latin melodies. A multi-talented artist that can sing and rap while seamlessly transitioning between English and Spanish, Papi AQ relays a sense of harmony in his lyrics with the production to back it. Devoting himself to uniting the Latino community while rapping in two tongues, Papi AQ is creating the bridge for everyone to explore his world. 

Not just preaching the idea that hard work leads to results, Papi AQ has recently released CaliLuv featuring Nanu, proving that he is the living embodiment of what he sings about. Having developed his fan base across all platforms, Papi AQ has positioned himself to find immediate success.
