From the DtoNYC, & specializing in vibe creation. I play a darker mysterious melodic tribal techno vibe with a very specific sound. I have a rigorous music selection process and am extremely picky about the music I use in my mixes, with a keen ear for what goes with what.

My first introduction to techno music was back in 2013 at TV Lounge in Detroit. Since then countless nights have been spent hunting for a new sets to listen to, constantly exposing myself to different genres. Fast forward to 2017 I move to New York City, where every weekend there are temptations to go out. Resulting in constant exposure to best DJ’s in the world at my fingertips week after week. In 2018 I’d come to realize that I could not continue going out “every single weekend” and I needed to find a way to start spending some weekends at home, so I ended up downloaded the DJayPro app and started mixing my favorite songs on my phone. I was hooked, my love for music was now my deepest passion. Instead of hunting for new DJ sets to listen to, I was now hunting for new tracks that fit whatever vibe I was trying to create in my own DJ sets.

Cecilia Muylaert is a Brazilian pianist and composer based in Paris. After studying classical piano at the École Normale de Musique de Paris and graduating in Music and Musicology from Paris-Sorbonne, she turned to composition following her studies in film scoring and contemporary composition at the University of Leeds, UK.

A versatile composer, Cecilia Muylaert composes for concert, theater, cinema and multimedia. Her concert music has been performed in the United States, England, Scotland, Germany, Mexico and Brazil by various soloists and chamber music ensembles.

She draws inspiration from various musical genres, often mixing orchestral writing, inherited from her classical training, with contemporary electronic elements.

I know that the ukulele is often ridiculed, but exactly this naivety of the instrument suits me. As a child of the No Future generation, this naivety is the only thing that gives me a spark of hope for a better world…
