Born in Missouri and raised by his paternal grandmother in Caruthersville, Mo. (just 90 minutes north of Memphis), Toshae has been feeling the pains of prison for as long as he can remember. Through his childhood, his family was known for their street activities and having a lot of cash in the process. His grandfather, father and uncles were constantly in and out of federal prison.



“My music talks about a lot of the things that people go through,” Toshae explains. “I’m rapping about real life. I’m not glorifying materialism. I’m relating to the people that come from poverty. I’m rapping about real life.”



With true-to-life street lyrics, hardnosed subject matter and bumping, base-heavy beats, Toshae is ushering in his own hip-hop/rap, R&B-infused, soul-drenched sound that can be compared to none. He has already shaken up the Southern underground with his sizzling lead single “IAn Playin Around” featuring JayDaYoungan, produced by M1 Darton and engineered by Heartbeatz. He has set the stage for his new self-titled mixtape.



“When I got the first feedback for my music, I knew my music was on point,” he thinks back. “People want to hear about the streets. They want real music. They want to hear about the struggle.”

The Walls Group is made up of four out of eight siblings that have grown up singing the Good News of Jesus from as far back they can remember. Darrel, with his dynamic riffs and runs and those magic fingers, Rhea, with her sweet voice of velvet, Paco, with his raspy, soultry sound, and Ahjah with her powerful, jazzy style and beautiful smile, all come together to make the unique sound that so many have come to know and love. Coming from a musical family, where both their mother and father are musicians and singers, this 5th generation of singers bring a newer and exciting younger face to Gospel music. The Walls Group hopes to spread the message of Hope and Love through Jesus Christ and to Bless the hearts of God's People everywhere.
