Ich erzähle die Geschichte der größten und anmutigsten Tiere unserer Erde, die von den Menschen vertrieben, gejagt und getötet werden. 
Um dem sicheren Tod durch die, von des Menschen Hand geführten, Harpune zu entkommen müssen sie fliehen. 
Sie schwimmen los auf der Suche nach einem Platz der ihnen Sicherheit, Essen und Ruhe gibt. 

Die Wale schwimmen durch tiefe Gewässer, erleben wilde Strömungen, müssen sich gegen Haie verteidigen die ihre Jungen angreifen und vor allem immer wieder flüchten vor dem Menschen, der aus purer Gier und Habsucht versucht auch noch die letzten Wale unserer Erde auszurotten!

Die Reise führt sie aber auch an den traumhaftesten Unterwasserwelten vorbei, die nie ein Mensch zu Gesicht bekommen wird. Sie schwimmen an Korallenriffen vorbei und durch dunkles Gewässer, an schimmernden Fischschwärmen die im Mondlicht so aussehen als würden Edelsteine durch das Wasser schwimmen.

Nach einer langen Reise finden sie endlich einen Platz der Ruhe  und an dem sie durch den schimmerten Plankton im Meer im Mondlicht tanzen können :)
