About this mix:
At the beginning, I wanted to record a set without a deep touch, without acid parts. I wanted to used only « festive » tracks I play live often for « aperitif » ! BUT sometimes, my mind followed naturally acid and deep way (im’ stuck in! LOL). So, it’s a 50/50 selection between all of these mood, included my future release on COSMOVISION (a remix of K.D.S & Stabfinger), and an unreleased edit of this Tuareg Desert Bluesman « Koudede » (May he rest in peace)that I made 2 years ago ! 
About the title of this mix, « Bandiagara » is the name of beautiful place in Mali where i was many years ago, until it was no longer possible because there is many conflict, that is so sad… By the way, thanks to all this artists & friends which appear in this tracklist ! Hope you gonna enjoy this selection i made with love.

Temple Tears

Bei diesem KataHaifisch Podcast handelt es sich mal wieder um eine sonntägige spezial Ausgabe. Unser heutiger Gast Temple Tears, ist gebürtiger Pariser und betätigt sich seit 2014 als DJ & Produzent. Startschuss für seine leidenschaftliche Beziehung zur elektronischen Musik bildet sein Besuch des Burning Man Festivals. Dort wurde sein Feuer für den technoiden 4/4 unwiderruflich entfacht. Über die folgenden Jahre macht sich Temple Tears international einen Namen, als talentierter Produzent und Sound Design Experte. Vorzüglich produziert und spielt Temple Tears melodisch-progressive Tracks, versehen mit einer eleganten Note Düsternis und knackigen Basslines. Quelle seiner musikalischen Inspiration sind die unterschiedlichen Menschen, welche er auf seinen Reisen trifft und die Erfahrungen und Erlebnisse, welche er in der zwischenmenschlichen Interaktion sammeln darf. Mittlerweile kann unser heutiger Gast, als Veteran der elektronischen Musik Szene bezeichnet werden. Er tourte und bespielte bereits unzählige Länder dieser Erde. Seine Historie zieren Gigs auf großen und kleinen Bühnen in Israel, Spanien, Schweden, der Schweiz und natürlich in Frankreich. Im letzten Jahr veröffentlichte Temple Tears eine EP auf dem Label LOKD. Auf seinem SoundCloud Channel könnt ihr Euch weitere Musik von ihm, zu Gemüte führen. Für 2021 sind ebenfalls Releases und Podcasts geplant, also bleibt gespannt. 
Dieses Set ist eine abwechslungsreiche Mischung aus energetischen Downtempo Tracks und technoiden Stimmungsmachern. Über 63 Minuten lang gibt Temple Tears die ansprechendsten Goldstücke aus seinem Repertoire, versiert gemixt zum besten. Wir sind entzückt und wünschen Euch noch einen angenehm, sonnigen Sonntag.

Very few parties in London attract a following as prolific and faithful as Beauty and the Beat. The East London escapade is run by Cyril Cornet (Belle Bête), Jem and Cedric Woo. It is a party which has spanned more than a ten year legacy, inspiring dancers and encouraging freedom within musical diversity at every turn. As such, there is is no preconceived sound, the music is free flowing and has become a firm favourite amidst selectors and dj's galore. However, what has always been most prevalent is the commitment of the residents behind the scenes. 

Cedric Woo remains an innovative figure within music culture in the capital, the French disc jockey has a renowned reputation for his selection and digging. His own sets are far reaching and draws from a broad remit of influences. No two sets are the same and every time he delivers something as uniquely sumptuous as the last, a true dj in the purest sense. 

It was with much delight that he chose to place this mix with Ransom Note, a formidable collection of music spanning a breadth of genres and style collected from various visits overseas.

Biberonné à la musique de Pink Floyd et grand amateur de musiques latines, Cedric Woo organise depuis 2005 les soirées Beauty & The Beat à Londres où se mêle sons audiophiles et musiques cosmiques tropicales.
C'est en repensant à un after chez lui où les chaussures étaient enlevées, la discussion inexistante mais les oreilles grandes ouvertes qu'il nous a proposé cette sélection. 
Une ambiance de rêve pour jouer des morceaux atypiques et des grooves organiques : " Tout se danse même quand il n'y a pas de beat".

Soulestial Carnival is blessed to have a home at YOUniversal at Burning Man and in 2019 we returned with our Soulestial soundsystem for the second year in a row to bring the gift of music, accompanying our camp's Wednesday night open dinner.

"YOUniversal offers a Persian Tea House designed by Gregg Fleishman, and for 6 hours each day we offer desert-friendly drinks along with exotic sweets and sour treats, some parlor games, and poetry & fortune telling - all based on Persian culture. Since our camp consists heavily of veteran Burners of Persian descent, YOUniversal is really good at two things that can be helpful on the playa: hospitality and fun desert-dwelling wisdom."
Our brothers Cirque Noir brought Shnoor for 2019, a selection perfectly suited for the warm and inviting tea house. Shnoor's ecclectic set deep in the morning closed out an unforgettable evening under the desert sky.
