Ben Morris is a composer whose music tells unconventional stories and crosses genre boundaries. He is Assistant Professor of Composition at Stephen F. Austin State University.

Anthony Adams was born in London in 1947. He was commissioned to write a String Quartet with Soprano (The Closing of Autumn) for the 1980 Radcliffe Music Award which was subsequently performed at Hull University and in the Wigmore Hall (London) by the Allegri String Quartet with Mary King. Other notable performances have included "Arabesque" (10 instruments) at the Bath Festival in 1989 (Lontano conducted by Odaline de la Martinez), "Crystal" for Trombone and Percussion at the Melba Hall, Melbourne in 1989 (Barrie Webb and Elizabeth Davis), "Five Pictures" (12 instruments) at the Huddersfield Festival 1988 (Firebird Ensemble conducted by Barrie Webb) and "Ten Pieces" for solo piano (York 1993, Andrew Ball).
