Deckster SD fell in love with dance music at a young age. Captivated by the pulse of club culture, he grew up on the iconic sounds of legendary Dutch nightlife, shaped by regular visits to hotspots like Waakzaamheid, IT Amsterdam and the famed Roxy.

Driven by a deep addiction to music, he is constantly chasing fresh sounds and unexplored styles. His wide musical spectrum and relentless hunt for unconventional tracks shape a signature energy that’s unmistakably his own. Today, this passion also comes to life in his role as a resident DJ for Libertas Music Radio, where he showcases the finest in progressive house — and on stage, including returning to Amsterdam Dance Event once again in 2025.

For Deckster, it’s all about the joy of sharing music and creating vibe. His sets are rich in contrast and always evolving, blending progressive house with tech influences, organic grooves and the occasional breakbeat twist — never limited by the unwritten rules of genre. You’ll often hear warm melodic layers, deep basslines and tactile percussion steering the momentum, favoring hypnotic flow over explosive maximalism.
