Boomwhacker est le premier single issu du deuxième EP du duo De Fleur. Ce morceau annonce la couleur du projet automnal : rythmé et enivrant, le morceau garde en lui la force des fins d'été tout en évoquant la mélancolie inspirante des soirées d'octobre. Chanson aux influences multiples (Jungle, Tame Impala, Altin Gün), le morceau raconte avec douceur la sensation intime d'avoir échappé à un système qui ne nous ressemble pas. Entre idéal et réalité, Boomwhacker déroule son histoire mêlant piano, contrebasse, guitare et éléments électroniques.

A match made in heaven. The Hawaiian electronic producer Mahalo get his 2016 original Current Mood beautifully reworked by the Canadian star remixer Famba. The new version is more disco / radio / dancefloor friendly, and what it lacks in the deepness of the original version it makes up in funky percussion and overall "summer is still here" feeling.
