LIGHTS A.M presents timeless electronic music from the North. This 6-track EP features mostly vocal based tracks with very emotional lyrics dealing with our journey towards a more heart-centered and compassionate state of being without neglecting the darker aspects of our lives.
 
LIGHTS A.M (read LIGHTS AFTER MIDNIGHT) produces unique and cinematic electronic music evolving into melodic dreamwave with a touch of ambient and 80’s electronic pop manifesting that the future is now! Influenced by instrumental and cinematic electronic music and soundtracks from the 70’s and 80’s acts like VANGELIS, BRIAN ENO and EDGAR FROESE (TANGERINE DREAMS) or some more recent works by the likes of SURVIVE, CLIFF MARTINEZ, M83, etc.
 
This is music coming straight from the heart of Erlend Eilertsen also known as the frontman of the electronic rock band ESSENCE OF MIND, who got into a creative bubble and created LIGHTS A.M to channel his deepest feelings, thoughts, light and dark in an emotional and uplifting way.
 
Exploring the mysterious, the spiritual and the unknown through ethereal atmospheric moody songs, LIGHTS A.M was nicely described at the offspring from THIS MORTAL COIL and OMD…

Took some time to chillax and make some more Lofi to blow off steam. It's been a while since the previous LCD Noir track, so here's another.

An LCD Noir EP in the works? Probably not, but it depends on what I feel like doing at the moment.

LCD Noir - Ethereous

I'm back with some more future funk. It's pretty tough finding a sample that I like enough to chop, but not to the point where I have no idea what to do with the sample. In the end, I pulled through.

This might be the beginnings of an eventual album perhaps?

LCD Noir - Soul Sugar

Here we go, my first attempt at making a vaporwave track. I think the mindset was to basically feel as if time were dilating while listening to it, and i failed to happen for me. But it sounds like vaporwave to me though.

On second thought, I might leave it as-is.

This one's more of a half-half on vaporwave and synthwave, because I combine the use of a sample and synths. The overall end tome is a strange texture, but I think it's a new flavour of music I haven't really done before.

I make darksynth (well, I like to think I do) with Hard Techno/Industrial music influences, as well as a couple other genres (Lo-fi, Chiptune, Future Funk, Synthwave, TBA)

If it's not darksynth, well I guess it's just dark-something.

I produce mainly under the pseudonym "Celeritas Tenebris", and for the rest which doesn't fit in, I use "LCD Noir".
