Today, we've got something extra special for you - a beautiful new single from Wilf & H U A M Á N titled "On Tides". The two producers (and longtime friends) started the track as a simple improvisational exercise and built it into so much more. Taking inspiration from ambient legend Brian Eno and crossing it with the modern jazz influence of pianists like Aaron Parks, Wilf & H U A M Á N deliver a punchy, groove based track full of intricate synth layers and warm drum patterns. The dreamy vocals of fellow housemate and artist ‘HANAH’ give the track the glue and magnetism that make this single what it is - a true breath of fresh air. We hope you enjoy this wonderful track and make the most of these beautiful summer days in whatever way you see fit. Peace and love from the Radio Juicy team.

Directly after attending the listening party of QQ's "The Long and Short of It" I made this. Around 97% of it was made the night of, with the rest being made the following morning. That being the case, this is heavily inspired by both TLASOI and QQ's work in general. 

Idk how I feel about releasing releasing it, so I'm throwing it up here for now. It'll probably get polished and released eventually(?)

Although blue is associated with sadness, for me its not a "happy" or a "sad" color. I feel like if there was a color to describe life, that color would be the blue. Can't explain it any better.

Born and based in Cologne, the roots of the 21-year-old are Congolese.
You can hear the influences in his sound selection which also defines his character.
Chineegro has been exposed to music for his entire life. At a young age he got influenced by the Soul, Funk and Roots Vinyl selection of his parents and music videos on MTV & Viva Television.
As the time passed by, he started to create his own Playlists on his MP3 devices.
„MUSIC HAS ALWAYS BEEN THERE“!
As a teenanger, he started to develop his production skills, what started as a hobby created more and more noise, so that his friends encouraged him to consider this as his profession.
Eventually, in 2016 he started his career by CO-Founding the party concept SAUCE and hitting the decks at his own party.
The concept which started as urban house party, developed to be a full success and made it to the clubs.
His DJ sound is urban, yet extremely modern and high in demand: With an Afro Beat / Dancehall based selection, Chineegro manages to merge ethnic uptempo music with Hip Hop, Baile Funk and UK Sound. His musical journey also takes trips to the House, Dance and Grime genre, making his set a unique and powerful experience.

This is a reworked version of a track 'Like Ships Without Anchors' from the album 'Her Name In A Language Of Stars', cut and edited for my live set, which I used to play a while ago. I found it nearly as enjoyable as original (maybe even more), and decided to share it on my networks.

For the artwork I used a painting of a great Swedish landscape and marine painter Simeon Marcus Larson. I decided to leave it blank and not to use any fonts not to ruin the masterpiece. The painting is called Ångfartyg i solnedgång (English: Steamship in Sunset).
