I'm excited to debut the first edition of my Electronica Nostalgica series on Proton Amplified! The Proton Amplified initiative is an ever-evolving platform showcasing artists historically marginalized by the music industry, including but not limited to women, BIPOC and LGBTQIA+ folks

With this series I'm hoping to explore all the facets of electronic music that influences me on and off the dancefloor. This recording has been on repeat in my headphones for the past couple of weeks, ever since I re-discovered it! The setting was daytime in the desert, not too long after sunrise, and because it was October, the heat was not overbearing at all. The wind picked up towards the end, and the dance floor held strong -- Moontribers know how to get down in any condition!

I was honored to share the lineup with visionary artists and thinkers including Reggie Watts, LP Giobbi, David Satori, Bloomurian, Duncan Trussell, and Zach Leary — all gathered to mark 82 years since Albert Hofmann’s legendary bicycle ride and the birth of LSD.

This is my offering: a hypnotic dancefloor journey through tribal rhythms, organic melodies, disco beats, and 303 acid basslines — a psychedelic set to make your booties move and your spirit groove.

As a former war correspondent turned sound alchemist, music and plant teachers have been my medicine — helping me transmute trauma and reconnect with joy.

This set is a celebration… a thank you… and a portal to something deeper.

FnF Summer Campout 2025

This set was recorded for Ecstatic Dance, in Oakland, CA on Weds, January 29th, 2020. I play live lead guitar with FX periodically through this mix.

I tend to curate a more eclectic set with many different genre blends, mostly in 10-20 minute blocks for the 3 hour period with energy bursts and then releases so that the dancers get a chance to rest between bursts. 

Focus is on fun dance rhythms, cutting edge music with an international vibe and a lot of bass!
