Recorded live on Saturday 6 December 2025 at the final Energy in Motion event at Centre of You in Melbourne, this set was created as an activation for the dancers in alignment with the evening’s theme: “Share Your Gifts.” Expect an alchemical blend of genres—from tribal downtempo to potent drum & bass, deep cinematic emotions to euphoric house anthems—this set will stir your body and spirit into motion. 🌀🔥

It also features a few unreleased Chakaruna original tracks, including a sneak preview of the upcoming first single, “Human Nurture”, out December 16th on High Vibe Records. 🎶

Through the rhythms, movement and  permission to surrender, dance becomes a powerful healer where we can shake out stress, open our hearts, awaken creativity, and deeply connect with our divine essence.

Together we journey meeting what arises, shedding what’s ready to fall away, and discovering new strength and clarity on the other side. This dance is a ritual of renewal, a huge dose of self love, and a reminder that your body knows the way.

Are there places within you that are holding on too tightly. When we have a strong attachment to an outcome, it can show up in our bodies as tension. This dance is an invitation to drop the control, surrender and open to receive the gifts that are available for you to receive right now.

As a way to honor all the layers and old skin we’ve shed throughout this year 2025, I shared something very personal with the community. During the closing circle, I read out loud a piece I wrote on my birthday: words born from reflection, gratitude, and the fire of renewal:

"Today, I feel proud not for the things that I have acquired or achieved in this life. 

Today, I feel proud for the things that I have let go, that I have left behind. I'm proud of the things that I have released. Because they didn't represent me anymore. 🔥 

I'm proud because by doing so, I have become more myself and less what others expected me to be.

I feel proud because now I know that the lighter I become and the less weight I carry, the more I can feel myself and as I feel myself more, the more authentic I can be and the more genuinely I can give to the world, and so therefore the more I can LIVE IN PEACE. 

Today , I AM CHOOSING MYSELF over anything else unapologetically with all my raw mistakes, shadowy parts and dirty desires and wishes but also with all my light, my power and my deliciousness! 🤤😏

I am becoming more myself not because I have achieved something in this world but because I have released so much as I walk and as I relate to each one of you guys that I have met on the way! 🫂🙏

Billboard summed it up best, “David Starfire brings a unique perspective to EDM.”

​David has performed at prominent festivals such as Winter Music Conference, Coachella, Outside Lands, Envision, Burning Man, Eclipse, and Lightning in a Bottle. He’s been direct support for the likes of Skrillex, CloZee, Tipper and collaborated with top artists such as Afrika Bambaataa, Sizzla, Alex Grey, Ram Dass, Alan Watts, Ooah (The Glitch Mob), Sidecar Tommy (Beats Antique), William Close, and the Grammy Award-nominated vocalist Chaytanya. His Ascend album reached #7 on the iTunes World Music chart and he had two #1 remixes on the Hype Machine. He's traded remixes with CloZee, Desert Dwellers, iLL Gates, Beats Antique, and SOOHAN.

Some highlights include the movie Sold (Emma Thompson as exec producer), Lie to Me (FOX), Outsourced (NBC), Live with Kelly Ripa (ABC), ESPN2, Fox Sports, MTV, MTV2, Fuse, Showtime, HBO, EA sports, and a Right Guard commercial. His songs are featured on several music compilations including Sony, Lonely Planet, Red Bull, Craig’s List, and his song “Shout it Out” was in regular rotation at Starbucks. 

David has been producing music for meditation and psychedelic assisted therapy for many years. He's the music facilitator for high profile meditation retreats with the likes of Deepak Chopra, Robert Thurman, Richard Schwartz (IFS), Sunny Strasburg, Gita Vaid, and others. David worked with Phil Wolfson (MAPS researcher, The Ketamine Papers) on the K Dome virtual Burning Man Project. He helped to develop the TRIPP meditation phone app plus contributed music and was the main curator of the music content including well known names such as Moby, Ram Dass, Alan Watts, Desert Dwellers, Dirtwire and others.. In 2023, David released a highly acclaimed album with meditations by Ram Dass. He's also the head of music and sound at TRIPP VR, the #1 meditation platform in virtual reality. In 2020, David co-founded PsyAssist with Sunny Strasburg, a VR and Phone app that features music and guided meditation for psychedelic therapy.

David started his musical journey playing guitar at 8, then playing in the jazz band and marching band in high school. In his 20’s he was signed to various bands and eventually fell in love with the fusion of world music with EDM. He comes from a musical family in New Orleans. His grandfather Oscar Rouzan, was a well known jazz musician and his cousin, Wanda Rouzan, known as the “The sweetheart of New Orleans music”.

JagLunar is a DJ duo consisting of Nikka Espirita and Mika da Luz, celebrated for their vibrant, transformative performances that seamlessly blend tech-house, deep house, melodic techno, Afro house, and techno. Their dynamic back-to-back sets are more than just music—they are energetic rituals, designed to uplift and connect with the crowd on a deep level. For Mika and Nikka, DJ-ing is a form of energy work, where they channel the collective rhythm of the audience into an unforgettable shared experience.

JagLunar’s signature lies in their unique fusion of driving beats and soulful melodies. Their sets pulse with an ecstatic dance vibe, bringing an infectious sense of freedom, joy, and connection to the dance floor. Chakaruna is a DJ/producer weaving tribal bass, organic house, downtempo, cinematic soundscapes, and global influences into deep, danceable journeys. From meditative stillness to ecstatic release, his sets carry ancestral echoes and contemporary energy.

Rooted in nature and ceremony, Chakaruna (Quechua for “World Bridger”) connects ancient wisdom with modern sound — moving bodies, opening hearts, and awakening spirit.

​Yozéf Dragon is the artist/dj name for Adrián Yozéf founder of Beyond Dance and one of the most important local "space holders" and embodiment mentors emerging in the Central Valley and Pacific Coast region of Costa Rica. 

​He is an Embodiment​ Mentor and Facilitator​ dedicated to support people in their journey to liberate themselves mentally and physically through the pleasure of their own and free self expression in 1:1 settings. 

He is a visionary committed to creating a safe, substance-free, and therapeutic space for the exploration of the inner self through music and movement.​

Yozéf is not only continually growing and evolving as a leader and DJ, carefully weaving together lush fusions of worlds for the subtle landscapes of the soul, but he is also a pioneer who captures the full spectrum of the rainbow in his field of work, bringing a dynamic, sumptuous and satisfying experience for the healing and rejuvenation of the individual.

He has collaborated as a co-producer and artist with international music producers such as Temple Step Project, J.Pool, Sariel Orenda, Yemanjo and Angata.

He has played in many Ecstatic Dance communities around Europe and Colombia such as:

París, Prague, Montpellier, Burdeos, Nantes, Rome, Napoli, Zagreb, Barcelona and also Bogotá and Santa Marta in Colombia.
