MARKERS are a guitar duo from London comprising of Jason Carty and Jodie Cox. Collectively, their musical history has seen them as founding members and collaborators with the likes of Narrows, Geiger Counter, Foe, Exes, Rohame, Art of Burning Water and Earth.  However, this project is something different.  Creating music without voice or rhythm section leaves them very exposed, focusing attention on how each note is wrung or coaxed for optimum emotional expression, and relying heavily on tone, dexterity and structuring.  Whilst a review of early guitar influences has bled into their sound, there is an obvious nod to cinema and the effect music has on steering images with sweetness, patience and intensity, both on the screen and in the mind’s eye.

Elchgetuem! This is a monstrous triumvirat from the ancient boondocks of the Ruhr Area.

In Character of brute Luke (27, Git/Voc), Florian (34, Bass/Voc) and Verena (22, Drums) interpretate the chants of the Elchgetuem as Stoner Grunge with massive distortion and not even a little bit of smoothness.
Founded on septembre 29th 2016, it lasted a mere of two month until the first hour of music was written, which will be performed live as of march 2017.

The 12 acts of the Elchgetuem are:

1. You shall not warship another essence additional to the Elchgetuem.
2. Do pogo to your neighbour.
3. You shall do moose.
4. You shall not crack deer.
5. Buy a CD and a lot of merch, because it is good value.
6. Commemorate slobber, the lama has a hot foot.
7. Listen to the subliminar courting.
8. Desire the beer of the person next to you.
9. Like us at facebook.
10. Use more distortion.
11. Elchgetuems eleventh order is: You Do talk about Elchgetuem - all the time!
12. There is no dozenth act.
