One of my favorite Van Morrison tunes.  I did the vocals, guitars, drums, vibraphone, and engineering.  The rest of Celestial Navigation helped me out with Didem Somel on violin and mandolin and Glen Anderson on upright bass.  I was never happy with the original mix.

A song about my big sister Cindy. She passed away 12 years ago, at the same age I am now. She was the one I'd always call when I was freaking out. She would talk me down. That's the chorus. The verses represent different seasons at "The Cottage," a family getaway in Northern Wisconsin where we spent precious time together.
The is a "One-Man Band" production. All instruments, vocals, engineering, etc. done by moi.

A little song I wrote, sang, played all the instruments on, and engineered/produced; except Violin, played by Didem Somel.

World Music with a Jazz Infusion

Celestial Navigation is the musical exploration of three seasoned musicians, Didem Somel, Glen Anderson, and Robby Albrecht, tired of playing the same old thing. On a quest to strip away the mundane and frivolous; Celestial Navigation seeks to chart new musical waters on the wind and waves of harmony. 

Didem is a brilliant composer who plays violin, viola, piano, cello, and sings; Glen adds the low end with his soulful double bass stylings; Robby lays down the groove on drums and produces the music and videos.  

They each bring a unique perspective to the table and the music takes on a synergistic effect.
