Für die gerade durchstartenden Indie Clash Newcomer aus Frankreich “We are enfant Terrible”, die man im Mai in Salzburg im Rockhouse kennenlernte entstand "Steven Seagull", eine wunderschöne Reinterpretation des Electropop Hits "Seagull". Die Band wird derzeit von dem WHO is WHO der internationalen Blogszene immer wieder aufs Neue abgefeiert und als eine der neuen, jungen Electropop Hoffnungen gehandelt. Zurecht, wie wir
meinen! In der Frittenbude- Version hechelt sich Streuner mit einer Odé an die Blindheit der Liebe über einen mitreißend groovy Elektrofunk Beat verzuckert mit unschuldig zarten Gitarrenmelodien. Bittersüße Erinnerungen an eine perfekte Zweisamkeit und das nicht wahrhaben wollen eines jähen Endes eben dieser.

Passend zum Song haben sich die einzelnen Bandmitglieder über Ihre Macbook Kameras gefilmt und aus dem Material ein charmant-sympathisches DIY Video zusammengebastelt. Schauplätze: New York City, Agentur für Arbeit/München und der Proberaum der Frittenbude...
Die Doppelsingle wird die letzte Veröffentlichung sein, bevor es daran geht sich an den Nachfolger der Nachtigall zu machen, der voraussichtlich im Frühsommer 2010 schlüpfen wird. Man darf gespannt sein wohin sich der Sound dieser allzugern als Hypeerscheinung abgestempelten Band nach all dem Trubel entwickelt. Soviel steht fest: Viel ist passiert, viel hat sich verändert und all diese Einflüsse und Inspirationen werden sich am Ende auch in der Musik wiederfinden. Wie immer frei raus und ganz unverfälscht und Indiefresse;-)

Die Sterne: "Nach Fest Kommt Lose" - "Nach Fest Kommt Fest" (Frittenbude Remix)

Mit Ihrer neuen EP "der Riss" haben sich "Die Sterne" dieser Tage eindrucksvoll in neuem Disco-Gewand zurückgemeldet. Bereits auf dem Immergut Festival bezogen Bude und Sterne den gleichen Backstage Wohnwagen. Zum ersten direkten Kontakt der beiden Bands kam es aber dann erst auf dem Uni Open Air in Bayreuth als 3 erbärmlich verkaterte Fritten vom Medizinmann "Ingwer Spilker" wieder vitalisiert und aufgebaut wurden um nach einem nervenaufreibenden, 12-stündigen Aufenthalt im Backstage um 02:00 Ihre Show endlich verrichten zu können. Und das den Sternen das Kuddelmuddel der Springinsfelde anscheinend gut zu gefallen schien, war spätestens beim Anblick eines schwitzendabzappelnden 2 1/2 Meter Riesen an vorderster Tanzfront ersichtlich. Schnell wurde klar dass man ähnlich tickt und große Pläne wurden geschmiedet, unter anderem ein Toursupport im Oktober der leider aufgrund einer nicht einkalkulierbaren Krankheit einer Fritte jedoch entfallen musste. Dafür jetzt "Nach Fest kommt Fest". Die Frittenbude Version von "Nach Fest kommt Lose", eine vor bounciger Energie nur so strotzende elektronische Indie-Hymne an den Repeat Modus unseres Hedonismus.
