Road Trip is motion as meditation. Every track opens a different window into the long drive: the pale light of early morning, the strange little towns you’ll never visit again, the wild skies, the empty gas stations, the motel signs buzzing in the dark, and the quiet arrival at the edge of the ocean. Acoustic folk and retro pop blend with cinematic post-rock, ambient jazz, disco, and field-recorded textures. It’s not about the destination. It’s about all the miles that change you on the way there.

Here's a cover of Porcupine Tree's 'Remember Me Lover' from The Incident. It was interesting to attempt it because of the mix of loud parts and quiet parts. Drums and bass are parallel compressed.

Vocals and guitars are me, drums, bass and most keys/strings came from a MIDI I found and pulled apart.

BlackstratBlues is the solo project of guitarist, composer, and record producer, Warren Mendonsa. Warren is known for his instantly recognizable, distinctive sound and incorporating immaculate phrasing into his music. BlackstratBlues' debut album, Nights In Shining Karma, released in April 2007 garnered significant appreciation & fame. Nikhil D'Souza - a 28 year old guitarist/singer-songwriter from Mumbai, his genre might be loosely defined as eclectic acoustic guitar-based pop. A distinctive feature of his original music is the emphasis on strong vocal melodies and lyrics, backed up by skilled and unconventional guitar work.
