After numerous releases in the past 12 months, Tel Aviv based Eliezer, joins us, along with friends of the label, Mufti, Skelseys and Ackerman to deliver 'Ritmica La Noar', three guitar laden sonic meditations backed up with remixes from French duo Kimshies, who pushes the tempo and stretches the fabrics weaving together a patchwork of fear and loathing, Modular Project who pulls the guitar and twisted harmonics from 'Don't Be', using them to create a widescreen technicolour opiate laden take and Tyu who rebuilds 'Halalit  Ushma Tshuka' into a more tribal understated and up-tempo mutant dance rework.

PREMIERE - ROB - IIN - Ritmo Del Ritual (ODD Pleasures)

Enjanzea2 (@enjanzea2), a duo formed by Javier Rascan and Ricardo Jain from Chihuahua Mexico lands on the 4th edition of our Innisfallen Series (@innisfallenrecords). The project's proposal travels between acid and spatial monophonic sounds, inspired by techno, house and electro. This great piece wouldn't be here without Ruary's (@ruaryvargas) hand which gathered all of these electronic elements together in "Pazuzu."

The EP includes two interesting remixes, one by Javier Ferreira (@javierferreira), a multi-instrumentalist and music producer widely recognised for his energetic and rhythmic productions within his already distinguished sound range.

Cantor, a San Francisco-based musician and producer, contributes a production inspired by Detroit techno, punk, and new wave rhythms, which, combined with acid, string chaos, and broken cymbals, creates a unique piece that perfectly complements Vongold's already beloved vocals.

Everybody’s darling DJ and producer Mark Bailey – aka MAN2.0 (SXDNS081/FREEDL002) – is back on Paisley Dark, this time to bring to life, finally, his first EP on the cool British label (his previous appearances were in the role of a remixer). For the occasion, Mark cooked an(other) Acid & Dark cut: “Red Shift” is a dance-floor-oriented Techno-meets-Dark-Disco cut presenting exactly the kind of sonority expected from Mr. Two Point Zero. On the remix calling, an impressive selection of pure blood artists: Tronik Youth (SXDNS050), Steady State, Bedford Falls Players, The Machine Soul, Jezebell, and Mindbender. Each one of them engaged with the release in their best shape, providing extremely insightful takes on an already powerful theme.

Premiered here, Sir Neil Parnell’s remix transports “Red Shift” from its sort of progressive and melodic environment to a more aggressive and frenzied terrain. If you are familiar with Tronik’s work, you know how he (and his following) likes it. Infusing heavy doses of fat arpeggiated synth layers and some immoral acidity plus a filthy bassline, Neil provided one of the most intricate versions of the release.

After his recent release on the amazing label Exploited, David Body is back on Melopee !!! And he brings with him two powerful Italo House gems !“Haunted House” is a perfect rollin’ track. As always, David proves his sense of the dancefloor with a track for the peak time. Keeping the Italo vibes, he delights in an uncompromising piece, dancing, efficient. Come on ! Although slightly calmer, the title “Salt Swing” still keeps a dancefloor spirit. The piece is carried by a perfect piano riff, enhanced by a beautiful Italian spirit. Smile on your lips. The party continues! We are happy to welcome Hoochie Coochie Papa again. This time for a remix slowing down the original track “Haunted House” and adding a more rock, darker side. The Mexican Roswell Brothers are also back. After releasing their superb Kim Wilde edit, they delivered a cogent remix of “Salt Swing” inspired by Rock and Trance. The masked man perfectly brings a darker touch to the original. To close the release, we are happy to welcome the Belgian duet Marching Machines.

Through five high-quality original cuts, the lads introduce their talent and creativity to the Indie Dance/Dark Disco community with their solid debut on the mighty NEIN Records. Just don't think this is their first rodeo: Previously, they had been quite active on their personal Bandcamp having released some exclusivities on their own.      

Now, with their multi-genre EP, they successfully managed to combine a truckload of their main influences and deliver their vision of what dance-floor-oriented themes must embody.

The one we were solicited to premiere, for instance, opens the EP with a wicked and impish approach. A temperamental theme that combines a sexy vocal hook with retro-futuristic synth leads & layers with a pulsating bassline resulting in a Post-Punk-infused beauty.
