Band formed in Curitiba in the year 2006, by Alex martins (Guitars) and Marcelo Lima (Guitars and vocals) in 2007 launched his first ep with formation of Alex Guitarra, Marcelo Guitarra and vocals, yuri bass and Cristiano Bateria, with this formation to band recorded the full album (welcome to the Darkness Birth, 2007) reaching the level of revelation band of the national metal by the magazine roadie crew, after several tours where they played next to great names of the world metal like Circle two Circle Paul Dianno, the band in 2011 the band broke into studio with producer Murilo de Ross to record the great album (spreading death) with only Marcelo, Alex, and Cristiano, as a trio the band fell on the road to spread the spreading death being headline of some of the biggest festivals of the parana, played with great names of the metal Death Angel, Destruction, Dream evil, Shaman, Torture Squad among other great bands, after a hiatus and a world tour canceled due to internal problems the band recorded the Apocalypse Holocaust with a new lineup in 2017, Alex Martins (guitarrra and vocals) Cristiano (Drums) and Bruno (GUITARRA) the new album marked the return of one of the biggest national metal bands in 2017 the band released their full-length album at major festivals in cities such as Rio Grande Do Sul Porto Alegre Curitiba, also had its well-deserved recognition of major metal magazines worldwide, and specialized metal radios around the world playing in Europe's radios like Cortina De Ferro ) In 2018 the band is in studio recording their new ep without a definite date ....

The band MEPHISTO was founded in September 1997 in the City of Holguín, Cuba becoming the first Black Metal band in Cuba.  

Fusing black metal chords indicative of the old school 90's with symphonic overtures and today's modern metal genres, Mephisto's music is unique as it is inspiring. 

Content to push social boundaries and forge ahead with their pioneering ways, Mephisto was the first band to appear on stage with costumes and make up designs mimicking the Nordic European metal genres. A move that provoked a great movement within the national scene. 



La banda MEPHISTO se fundó en Septiembre de 1997 en la ciudad de Holguín, convirtiéndose Cuba en la primera banda de Black Metal en Cuba.
Fusionando acordes de black metal indicativos de la vieja escuela de los años 90 con propuestas sinfónicas y los géneros de metal modernos de hoy en día, la música de Mephisto es única e inspiradora.
Contenido para empujar las fronteras sociales y seguir adelante con sus formas pioneras, Mephisto fue la primera banda en aparecer en el escenario con disfraces y maquillajes que imitan los géneros de metal de los países nórdicos europeos. Un movimiento que provocó un gran movimiento dentro de la escena nacional.
